An overview of the social and collaborative conference tools
A key component of ULearn07 will be the contribution by participants to the understanding and knowledge being created throughout the conference through the use of Web2.0 applications.
Blogs and blogging
A blog is a frequently updated website, usually in the form of an
online journal or newsletter, consisting of personal thoughts and
commentary. You may have your own blog set up already. If that is the
case, please continue to blog while you are in Auckland at the conference, and
include the tags ulearn07. For those new to blogging, visit the bloggers cafe. There is more information on the blogs and blogging page.
Keynote and spotlight videos
All the keynotes and spotlight sessions will be recorded by Media Team students. These sessions (both video and slideshows) will be available online after the conference for further viewing and professional learning sessions at your school.
Conference newsletter
The student reporters in the Media Team will be compiling a newspaper for each day of the conference. These will be handed out around the venue as well as being available on this website.
Flickr
Flickr is a shared online photo storage service. If you have a flickr account and take photos at the conference, consider uploading them, including the tag ulearn07 or ulearn. If you don’t have a flickr account, consider setting one up before the conference and don’t forget to bring your digital camera. To view all conference photos uploaded by the conference team go to http://www.flickr.com/photos/ulearn
